i have Lola our dark apricot standard F1 apricot Goldendoodle (golden retriever/poodle cross) is due to have her puppies early October 2020. Various colours of reds, copper, dark Apricot, golden and creams. Dad, Rupert is a miniature stud poodle. The puppies will be medium sized no/low shed hypoallergenic dogs with wavy coats of various colours. They are fun loving, good natured family pets who love to chase after a ball and curl up at your feet in an evening.
We breed more as a hobby than anything else and do not have any more litters than one every 12 to 18 months. The puppies are born in our house, in a room next to the family kitchen and they remain within our house until they go to their new homes. The puppies have a safe yard where they can play outside if the weather is warm enough and the puppies are micro chipped and vet checked before leaving our family home.
They come complete with a puppy pack, instructions and on going support on how to look after your puppy with 4 weeks insurance. You are welcome to come to see your puppy ( COVID willing) and we actively encourage puppy cuddling time and socialisation. They are like cuddling a curly teddy bear.
From a few weeks old, we play the puppies a CD that has a miriad of different "strange sounds" on it, from washing machines to traffic to fireworks. We cuddle them daily and encourage them to play in the yard after eating if the weather is OK. We feel very strongly that the 8 to 10 week stage of sociialisation with their new families is vital for their development and during that time we encourage you to take them out and about but not to let them run where other dogs have been until the end of the immunisations on your vets advice.
Lola has excellent hip and eye scores and Rupert regularly passes all the vet tests he needs to be an active stud poodle. I will show you the certificates when you choose your puppy.
The puppies will not be able to leave mum until they are at least 8 weeks old, which will be late Nov 2020 If you want any further information, please feel free to contact me and I am happy to talk to you if you are already on our list. The waiting list and reserve list for this litter is full. They are medium sized dogs, but sizing is not an exact science, we can generally tell by their size in relation to the rest of the litter whether they will be " small" medium or "bigger" medium sized when fully grown. They will all have wavy curls and will need to be groomed as they do not moult.
Below pictures are of Lola and Rupert's litter from last year, on their 1st Birthday. This will give an idea of size at age 1. I have also added some random photos following them from birth to aged 1.
